Twitch introduces opt-out for Amazon AI training using channel content

Twitch has announced that users can now opt out of having their channel content used by Amazon to train generative AI models. The opt-out is available at twitch.tv/settings/security and covers streams, VODs, clips, chat, and text or images on the channel.

This change arrives more than two years after an Amazon executive confirmed that Twitch content was being used for AI training. Users must manually opt out to prevent their content from being used in future Amazon AI development.
