A remake of Resident Evil 2 follows rookie police officer Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they try to escape a biological disaster in Raccoon City. An over-the-shoulder camera accompanies limited inventory space, key-item puzzles and dangerous encounters inside the police station and beyond.
This entry covers the 2019 remake, not the 1998 original. Later platform versions do not change its first release date.
Our editorial rating uses a 0–10 scale. Metacritic and OpenCritic use a 0–100 scale, with links to the original sources.
