A remake of Resident Evil 4 follows Leon Kennedy’s mission to rescue the US president’s daughter. His search leads to a remote European village whose inhabitants serve a dangerous cult. Reworked combat adds knife parries, while exploration and trading help improve his equipment.
This is the 2023 remake, not the 2005 game. Separate Ways is an additional DLC campaign; Gold Edition and VR Mode are distinct from the original release.
Our editorial rating uses a 0–10 scale. Metacritic and OpenCritic use a 0–100 scale, with links to the original sources.
