The United States has lifted export restrictions on Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models, which were previously flagged as national security risks by the Trump administration. Fable 5 is now available globally, while US organizations regained access to Mythos 5 on June 26.
Anthropic is collaborating with the government to expand Mythos access to trusted cybersecurity researchers through the Glasswing program. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick confirmed that Anthropic no longer requires an export license, noting the company had addressed the government's safety concerns.
