Opera previews WebAI for on-device AI in websites

On October 27, Opera introduced an early WebAI preview letting sites and extensions use AI models on the user’s computer rather than send requests to a cloud AI provider. The opt-in feature supports Windows x64 and Apple silicon Macs for now.
