Canada announces equity investment in Cohere

Canada announced a phased, commercial equity investment in Cohere on October 29 to support sovereign AI. Cohere committed to creating at least 1,000 new technical jobs in Canada by 2030 and keeping its headquarters and incorporation in the country.
