A proposed class action lawsuit expanded Tuesday alleges that a man used xAI’s Grok to create 7,000 sexually explicit images of his 11-year-old stepdaughter before taking his own life after police discovered the abuse. The lawsuit claims Grok allowed the generation of extreme images depicting incest and rape without intervention, only flagging a prompt for “gang rape,” which triggered a report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The amended complaint also accuses X and xAI of obstructing police investigations into Grok-generated child sex abuse materials.
