Meta's AI glasses are the most popular of their kind, prompting schools, courts, restaurants, and entertainment venues to ban them.
Even DEF CON 2026 banned all smart glasses, telling attendees with prescription pairs to bring non-violating eyewear. Detection apps remain imperfect, so these devices may become even harder to spot.
