Google has finally opened preorders for its new $100 Google Home Speaker, which will launch on June 25—nearly ten months after its initial announcement. The device is the company's first new smart home speaker in almost six years, following the Nest Audio from September 2020.
It features a small round design with 360-degree sound, a glowing light ring, and a partially recycled fabric covering available in four colors. The speaker also includes three far-field microphones and a mute switch for privacy.
