Google has announced Gemini 3.5 Transcribe, a new AI model designed to improve voice input by removing filler words like "ums" and producing polished text. The model already powers the Gboard Rambler feature on the Pixel 11 and will soon be integrated across Google's ecosystem.
Compared to its predecessor Chirp 3, it is roughly 70 percent faster and achieves a lower live-speech error rate of 5.5 percent, down from 7.32 percent. While the accuracy gain is modest, the speed and cleanup capabilities are expected to make voice typing less frustrating.
