Lawsuit Alleges xAI Trained Grok on Child Sexual Abuse Material

A lawsuit filed Wednesday accuses Elon Musk's xAI of training its Grok models on child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, said the Canadian Centre for Child Protection notified her that AI-generated CSAM depicting her had been found on xAI.

Doe, whose childhood abuse images were hashed by child-safety groups, said the discovery re-traumatized her. The complaint also cites online forum messages in which offenders discussed creating AI-generated CSAM of known victims.
