SpaceX Acquires AI Coding Tool Cursor in $60 Billion All-Stock Deal

SpaceX announced it will acquire AI coding tool Cursor for $60 billion in an all-stock transaction, with the deal expected to close in the third quarter. The announcement comes two days after SpaceX's recent IPO and follows the earlier merger of SpaceX and xAI. Cursor was one of the first tools to integrate large language models into an IDE, but larger AI companies have since introduced similar features.
